Bleedin' Blues - Press Release

Five Piece Blues Band from Cork, Playing Covers by Rory Gallagher, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayall and More. These guys play with a whole load of energy and passion that always gets the crowd off their feet. Soulful singing, Driving Drums and Bass. Topped off with Hot and Tasty Guitar and Harmonica playing.
The new line up together less than a year. The Bleedin' Blues have taken the Cork music scene by storm. Having played in all of the County’s top music venues to great acclaim. The band are looking at spreading their name throughout the land and across the sea. Their first album is due for release before the end of the year.

CLEM BUCKLEY – GUITAR
Clem who has played guitar since the age of 13 and studied music in London for three years, plays a style of blues which takes influence from all the greats. He plays calm and collective and with lots of passion. Clem was once described “He stands there cool as f*ck and blasts it out” Clem has played on stages in Ireland, America, London and Australia.

KEN O’REGAN – HARMONICA
Kenny is regarded as one the best Harp players in Cork if not Ireland he has already proved this by being a runner up in the European Harmonica player of the year. Kenny always provides a performance so awe inspiring it’s not to be missed and his playing has been described as “Scary”

PAUL BUCKLEY – VOCALS
Paul sings with a voice that will send shivers down you spine. Paul listens to all sorts of music for his influence and has already made a name for himself singing Soul, Irish Music and now Blues. Paul is a great character on stage and will bring a smile to your face and will always provide a performance that is always bold and explosive.

MICHAEL CREEDON – BASS
Mike’s Bass playing provides the driving rhythm in the band. Mike has long been a highly respected Bass and Acoustic Guitar player. He has been used for many a recording session by other musicians and singers. Mike has a great feel and sound and can riff, walk or just pump the bass lines out.

TIMMY O’DRISCOLL – DRUMS
Tim is the powerhouse of the band he may be small in stature but you would think just from listening that there was a giant behind that drum kit. Timmy provides a lot of energy for the band and always gives it a full 110%. You can guarantee getting tired just watching him. His skill with his sticks has won him many fans and you will always hear the crowd calling “Timmy, Timmy”.
